Day Curtains are designed to let light into the room during the day, and can be a great way to create a calm, soothing lighting effect. People on the inside can look through them to the outside, but people on the outside won't be able to see inside the room, ensuring privacy. The level of seclusion is slightly diminished at night since the light levels inside the room allow the room to be seen from the outside.​
